As explained before that is solely Slitherine`s Publishing decision to make, as they handle all the marketing and PR.

I`m very positive that once a bit closer to the release, they will start to bombard you with nice promo material.

Cheers,

Tim aka LZ

Don't worry, when they make part 2 up they will probably have a bigger team. ;)

EDIT: At least I will be back from Hungary when the game is released. :D

Hi guys,

Here another overdue report.

There is a lot going behind the scenes, at the moment we are working or co-working on six different games that cover a wide variety of platforms and periods of history.

This means our small team is really stretched to its limits, luckily we are in the full process of getting more manpower aboard.

Another problem we face is that games that are on our publishers release list are pushed back on their original release schedule. Some of these games we have worked on ourselves, but the downside is, it messes up our own time frame as well. The positive is, we get more time to finish other nice products.  ;D

There are at least three or four games coming out this year, very nice games indeed, so forgive us if we are not always around here as that means we are working hard on fun games.

Cheers,

Tim

Great to hear! Not to name names, but a game that is set in a similar time frame and of the same genre recently dissapointed me and countless other gamers with a rushed out garbage of a game. :( (one that I was looking very much forward to as well)
I have faith in you guys that you will do better though!  45 This year is dying for a good strategy game!

We work for different game platforms, some small, some big, some in soul production, some in co-production.

But to lift a tip: two Napoleonic games, a WW2, a WW1, a Medieval and two Roman games. This will keep us busy for the next two years.

Thanks!

So here my guesses:

1. Napoleon 1: LOWN (PC)
2. Napoleon 2: must be Commander Napoleon at war for a console
3. WW2: same Commander Europe at war.
4. WW1: sequel to Commander's games...(for PC) which would be really great.
5. Medieval 1: great battles of the M-A (PC)
6. Roman 1: Horrible histories?
7. Roman 2: Legion for console.

...for me this will be 1, 4 and 5...

The biggest project for us, that comes out later this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, is Great Battles Medieval and some other games that follow quite fast.

So due to this crowded schedule work on LOWN is no priority at this point for us. We will take our time, LOWN is still our "pet project", but we have some other games to finish higher upon the release schedule first.

Cheers,

Tim

Well, that actually sounds good, seems you ladies and gentlemen won't rush a game out the door which is a good thing ! Just keep us posted on any progress you make LZ, always fun to read something new, even if it's just a nit-bit  003
